The most significant changes:

  • Lot of fixes and enhancements in Modbus/TCP plugin
  • New feature added: logging of variable changes in the server. The server is now able to log every change of a any variable to one or more configured logging targets. In this release console and file logging is implemented. SQL logging might come in the future. The logging targets can be selected through a new dialog window in the editor.

[edit] 2006 March, lsp-modbus-1.8.2

Released as 1.10

There are several fixes in https://lintouch.org/repos/lintouch/lsp-modbus/trunk that need to be backported to 1.8.1 branch that was mistakenly created instead of 1.8 branch. Afterwards 1.8.2 can be released and repackaged. The changes include:

  • big/little endian fixes
  • allow slave id in modbus header to be configured in order to support modbus/serial to modbus/tcp gateways.
