Reporting Bugs and/or Feature Requests

So you think you have found a bug in our code? Well nobody is perfect and we expect the bugs to appear from time to time. Or you want a new feature to be implemented?

1. Describe a bug

In order to make our work easier, and in order to hunt the bug down as fast as possible, we need several important information:

  1. How to reproduce the bug (what you have installed, pressed, typed in, what you expected to happen and what actually happened).
  2. Your system information (operating system version and version of all relevant libraries that you downloaded and installed from our site).
  3. If the bug results in a SIGSEGV, gdb backtrace could be very helpful, if you do not know what is SIGSEGV or how to obtain gdb backtrace, just do not care.

2. Query bugzilla to avoid duplicate reports

Try to query bugzilla for the words that describe the bug you have found. You can use this nice form. Do not be afraid, just type something to the summary box and press Search.

3. Report to bugzilla

And if you are still sure the bug you have found has not yet been reported, feel free to report it to bugzilla. And again, do not be afraid, fill only the boxes you understand, the rest just keep untouched.
