[Lintouch-dev] Open source Modbus gateway - Prosoft 3100 MCM - PLC-5

Hi,

I built the cable myself and I tested it with Modscan
(www.win-tech.com/html/modscan.htm) with the same setup I mentioned
already. I also tried connecting with Modscan to a Modbus gateway from
the same provider (Win-tech) and it worked fine. So, I guess the
physical layer is OK.

I have tried both COM1 and COM2, and they both give me the same error.
So, this is why I conclude that there is something wrong when the FREE
MODBUSC TCP to MODBUS RTU gateway connects to the Prosoft module, since
I have already tried with other software and it worked. I also tried to
connect to this software using Modscan from another machine and they
seem to exchange information. The problem comes when I physically
connect the Prosoft module to the computer running the gateway.
