Hi Felipe,
of course we were thinking about this, we are just not yet clear what
should be implemented. Lintouch Server now provides API for data mining
and storing via Server Plugins. Every Plugin has access to only its own
data set, meaning two plugins for example Modbus and SNMP can not touch
or exchange their data.
In order to implement for example historical access, we need a way in
Lintouch Server to monior and store all data flowing through the server
to the database. This is doable but it will require some architectural
changes in the core of lintouch server.
Do you have some more details what you would like to achieve through the
database connection within lintouch so that we can disscuss possible
details?
thanx
Martin
