[Lintouch-announce] Clarifying Lintouch licensing models

Hello All,

As a result of various interesting discussions that we had during the
SPS/Drives fair in Nürnberg, Lintouch Team has decided to take the
following path in further Lintouch development...


1) Lintouch Editor will be available as a GPL application (compared to
current situation where Editor is freely downloadable without access to
the sources)

2) Licensing will be extended to clarify that development of new
proprietary third-party Server Plugins and Template Libraries can be
done in-house without revealing the sources and without violating the
Lintouch License.


These changes will take some time and website will be updated
accordingly, note that in order to fullfil point 2) we might also
consider switching to another public license. Feedback and experience
regarding this topic is highly welcome. lintouch-dev at lintouch.org
